Ultimate Reporting Technology Our new Rave Server concept provides the real horsepower to let your users obtain the information they need when they need it. Designed as an intermediary between your database system and client, the Rave Server off loads much of the load placed on the main database and provides quick response times for the client. Pre-prepared report forms are stored in the central Rave Library where authorized users locate & execute their required report as needed. Reports not needing to be generated in 'real time' can be created & stored for viewing by clients as required directly from the report server without reliance on the main database(s). RAVE Server's load balancing, multi-processing, and multi-application threading result in a highly scaleable environment. The system manipulates large numbers of report objects concurrently thereby providing responsive service to many users at the same. While Rave is designed for browser access, Rave also works efficiently in the client server environment. RAVE Server sends completed reports as HTML, PDF or NDR (Nevrona Designs Report format) pages. For LAN connected operation, the desktop application can also make a DLL call to access the RAVE Server thereby integrating the entire power of the RAVE Server into an existing data infrastructure. To maintain consistency between screen and printed formats, users can select Adobe Acrobat or NDR with plug-in to request, read and print PDF files in order to obtain truly accurate print jobs.
